Who We Are
At Partridge Financial, we believe in treating clients like family — with respect, honesty and compassion.
From Our Family to Yours
A Note From Our Founder:
Chris Partridge
"Larry Partridge was more than just my father. He was my best friend, mentor and the man who taught me all about the importance of building strong relationships.
Larry had an incredible knack for connecting with people. He’d walk into our local Tim Horton’s back home in Toronto, and you’d hear a chorus echoing around the store: “Hey Larry!” A self-made success story, Larry's strong work ethic led him to start several companies, including a collection agency. Even in that tense climate, he developed a reputation as "the world's nicest collection agency owner."
Dad was also my youth baseball coach, and there’s one game I’ll never forget. I was pitching and had just hit two batters to load the bases. Through tears, I watched as he approached the mound with a stern message: “You’re going to finish this inning, and you’re going to be fine. Suck it up and pitch your game. Don’t worry about anyone else.” I struck out the next two batters and learned a valuable lesson: To get through tough times, sometimes you have to dig deep.
That lesson has proven invaluable in my personal and professional lives. A few years ago, Larry passed away from prostate cancer. I still think about him every day — about the way he lit up a room, the way he stayed true to himself and the way he attacked his biggest challenges, right up until the end. These are the values I try to live out every day and the reason I strive to do right by everyone who joins the Partridge Financial family. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about financial advising; it’s about making a positive impact in people’s lives — just like my dad did."
Chris Partridge
President, Financial Advisor
Displayed proudly inside Chris Partridge’s office are several keepsakes of significance to him, including framed hockey jerseys, a samurai print and a larger-than-life snapshot of the Toronto skyline. Also on display? This quote from Bruce Lee, which sums up Chris’s outlook on financial planning: “There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.”
A financial professional who can offer insurance products and services, Chris kick-started his career in financial services following a 20-year run in sales and marketing management. That stint taught Chris the importance of speaking to clients in simple-to-understand terms and meeting them where he’s needed most — values he continues to prioritize as president of Partridge Financial. Chris has since shifted careers, but he’s stayed true to his authentic self, which is evident the moment you enter the colorful Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, office that reflects his vibrant personality.
Chris and his wife, Heather, are both from Burlington, Ontario, Canada, but have called Myrtle Beach home for nearly 20 years. They have four children (five if you include the family dog Domi) — Brayden, Logan, Hudson and Brooke. Chris and Heather balance their busy professional lives with equally busy personal lives, which consist of cheering on their children at their soccer games, lacrosse games, and dance recitals, volunteering at school functions, and being the first to congratulate them when they finish another 5K race!
